IT’S TOY SEASON! I love little kid toys, they are so full of imagination! Yet, at the same time, they can easily overtake a house. As much as I enjoy living vicariously through my daughter, I don’t enjoy the giant mess toys can make. Personally, I would choose to have less great quality toys than an abundance of low-quality toys that won’t last through the wear and tear of toddlerhood. With Christmas around the corner, and my daughter adding to her Christmas list every night, I’ve been trying to weed out the unnecessary toys when she isn’t looking to go to donation. Though she will not (in any way) get an overstock of new toys, I want to make room for the incoming toys of the holiday season.

Right now, she is loving anything with imaginative play. She loves to do puzzles with her Nana (Nana seems to be the only person in the world right now who assists with puzzles correctly.) She loves to be a “mommy” to her babies. She loves playing “house” with a dollhouse. She loves “cooking” in a kitchen. And, weather permitting, LOVES to be outside! Below you can find more awesome imaginative and exciting toys for toddlers in the shoppable widget!

Hope everyone has had a terrific Tuesday!

xoxo, alli
