Howdy, everyone! This week has been crazy! Between work, motherhood, domestic obligations, potential new job(s), this here blog, and everything else life dishes out, I have been swamped. And, this girl right here is beyond guilty of not having it together at all this week, because this post was supposed to be up on Monday! #epicfail But, better late than never. So, here is this week’s look!
Dressing for spring in the mid-west is challenging weather-wise. We just had a blizzard out this way over the last weekend, and today it was sunny and in the 60s. Basically, our weather is like a female on PMS out here, SO UNPREDICTABLE and often moody. Because of this, finding a balance between dressing for the season and dressing for the weather is hard. One of my go-to items for the crazy weather transitions this time of year is a quality jean jacket. One can dress a jean jacket up or down, wear it again and again, through multiple seasons, and for many years. I also love longer (maxi) dresses for the weather transitions this time of year. It is often too chilly to wear many of the cute shorter dresses in this part of the country right now. Sticking to long dresses and pants through April (and often May) helps me not freeze my behind off until it warms up enough to break out some shorts.
I will try to get a content piece up for everyone by the end of the day tomorrow, fingers crossed. I hope everyone has a wonderful night. Sleep well and happy shopping!
